Safety Culuture and Trainings

Safety is fundamental to how Diamond operates. Our crews work in active industrial facilities, pipeline right-of-ways, construction sites, and occupied buildings where hazards must be managed carefully. Diamond invests heavily in training, preparation, and field leadership to ensure every employee understands how to work safely and responsibly in these environments.

Industry Certifications & Safety Training

Diamond maintains a highly trained workforce with certifications commonly required on construction and energy infrastructure projects. Many of our employees maintain OSHA 30 training, TWIC credentials for refinery and terminal access, Operator Qualifications (OQs) for pipeline work, and Competent Person training for excavation and trenching activities. These certifications allow our crews to work safely and efficiently on a wide range of commercial and pipeline integrity projects.

In-House Training & Employee Development

Diamond operates an in-house training program designed to continually develop our workforce. Employees receive hands-on training in equipment operation, hazard recognition, job planning, and proper work procedures. By investing in ongoing training and development, we ensure our crews maintain the knowledge and skills required to operate safely in complex field environments.

Jobsite Planning & Hazard Awareness

Before work begins, crews review the scope of work, identify potential hazards, and complete job safety planning to ensure work is performed safely. Clear communication between field crews, supervisors, and project stakeholders helps maintain safe operations while coordinating work in active construction and operating environments.

Accountability & Safety Culture

Safety at Diamond is built on accountability and teamwork. Every employee is responsible for recognizing hazards, protecting their coworkers, and maintaining safe work practices. This culture ensures our crews approach every project with professionalism, strong communication, and a commitment to completing the work safely.
